1. What Hydration Hero does
Hydration Hero is a habit-focused hydration tracking application operated by JDAC LLC. It helps users log water intake, follow daily goals, and stay motivated through simple progress feedback.
The Hydration Hero application is delivered from jdac.ai/apps/hydration-hero. This JDAC Labs page describes Hydration Hero and links to it; it does not itself collect the information you enter in the application.
2. Information users provide
Depending on the currently implemented features, Hydration Hero may process information users voluntarily provide, including:
- water or beverage intake entries and amounts;
- daily hydration goals and preferred units;
- reminder times and notification preferences;
- a display name or similar profile details; and
- feedback or support messages sent to JDAC LLC.
Users should not submit medical records, protected health information, credentials, payment details, or other sensitive information. Hydration Hero is a habit tracker, not a medical records system.
3. How information is used
- record intake and show progress toward a daily goal;
- display streaks, history, and motivational feedback;
- deliver reminders a user has chosen to enable;
- maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the service; and
- improve the reliability and usefulness of the product.
Hydration Hero does not use this information to make employment, credit, healthcare, insurance, or other high-impact decisions.
4. Accounts and authentication
Where Hydration Hero requires an account, account information is used to authenticate the user, associate hydration data with that user, secure the service, and communicate about the service.
5. Storage of hydration data
Hydration Hero is designed to retain entries so that history, streaks, and progress remain available over time. Depending on the features in use, entries and settings may be stored on the user’s device, or by the services that operate the application, rather than discarded after each session.
This JDAC Labs page does not store Hydration Hero entries and does not save Hydration Hero content in your browser.
6. Reminders and notifications
Reminders are optional and are sent only when a user enables them. Reminder settings, such as times and frequency, are processed to deliver those notifications. Users can disable reminders at any time through the application or their device settings.
7. Technical information
Hydration Hero and its service providers may process limited technical information required to operate and secure the service, such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device information;
- request date and time;
- error and security logs; and
- service-performance information.
This JDAC Labs page does not run product analytics for Hydration Hero. A JDAC LLC support chat widget is available across the JDAC Labs site and is provided by a third-party messaging service, which processes the information you enter into the chat.
8. Data retention
JDAC LLC retains hydration entries, settings, account information, and technical records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, applicable user settings, security, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.
10. User choices and deletion requests
Users can choose what to log and can disable reminders at any time. Where Hydration Hero provides controls to edit or remove entries, those controls can be used to delete data the user no longer wants stored.
Users may also contact JDAC LLC with privacy questions or requests concerning their information. JDAC LLC may require enough information to identify and evaluate a request.
11. Health disclaimer
Hydration Hero supports a general wellness habit and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Goals and reminders are informational only. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional about their individual hydration or health needs.
12. Children’s privacy
Hydration Hero is not directed to children under 13. JDAC LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Hydration Hero.
13. Security
JDAC LLC uses reasonable safeguards intended to protect information processed through Hydration Hero. No online service, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
14. Changes to this policy
JDAC LLC may update this policy as Hydration Hero’s functionality and service providers change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes affecting information collection or use will be reflected before or when the applicable feature is released.
