Hydration Hero Privacy Policy

Account information. Your name, email address, and account settings used for sign-in.

Hydration information you enter. The drinks and amounts you log, the times you log them, your daily hydration goals, and your history, streaks, and progress over time.

Settings and preferences. Reminder preferences, units, and other choices you make in the app.

Notifications data. If you enable reminders or notifications, the information needed to deliver them (such as a device push token and your notification preferences).

Technical information. The providers that operate Hydration Hero may process technical information required to run and protect the application, including IP address, browser and device information, request and activity timestamps, security logs, error logs, and service-performance information.

Support communications. Information you provide when you contact us.

• Provide and operate the Service (logging, goals, history, streaks).
• Save your progress between sessions and devices.
• Send the reminders and notifications you enable.
• Authenticate you and secure your account.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the hydration information you enter for advertising.

Hydration Hero is a habit-tracking tool, not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Hydration needs vary by person; questions about how much you should drink belong with a licensed clinician.

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers who process information on our behalf, including application hosting, authentication, database functionality, and an email-delivery service used to send reminders you enable and account communications.
• Legal and protection. When required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, or JDAC, or to enforce our Terms.
• Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

These providers process information only as needed to deliver those services on JDAC's behalf.

Hydration Hero is designed to keep your history going across sessions and devices. Your account information, hydration logs, goals, streaks, and settings remain stored so you can pick up where you left off. This information is retained until you delete it, until your account is closed, or for as long as reasonably required to maintain security, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Some information may persist for a limited period in backups, security logs, or provider systems before it is fully removed.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Access, correction, and deletion. You can view and edit your information in the app. You may request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you by contacting us using the link below. Include the email address associated with your account so the request can be matched to it. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
• Depending on your state (e.g., California and other U.S. state privacy laws), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Notifications. You can turn reminders and notifications on or off in the app or your device settings.

Where information sits with a service provider, we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot reach.

Hydration Hero is intended for general adult use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Hydration Hero is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for local compliance.

We may update this policy as the Service, our providers, or the law change. The "Effective date" above identifies the current version.
